For D&S Salon, a 1,700 sqft grooming space in Dhanmondi, Dhaka, Interior Villa designed a bright, contemporary interior that blends style, comfort, and functionality into a genuinely premium grooming experience. A Bright, Minimal Palette With Bold Accents

The design works from a clean base of soft whites, warm creams, and marble, then lifts it with rich terracotta seating and tan leather styling chairs. The result is airy and modern, yet warm and masculine — a salon that feels upscale without ever feeling cold or clinical.

Double-Height Volume & Sculptural Lighting

The double-height ceiling is the space's signature. A cascade of slim white vertical rods and a sculptural gold branch chandelier fill the volume overhead, creating a striking centerpiece visible from every corner. Pendant lighting over the styling stations adds warmth and keeps the light flattering and shadow-free where it matters most.

Professional Styling Stations

Styling stations line the walls in an organized run — black-framed mirrors with adjustable gold sconces, tan leather reclining chairs, and integrated tool storage at every seat. The layout gives each barber generous working clearance while keeping the floor open and easy to move through during busy hours.

A Gallery Wall That Sets the Mood

A curated gallery wall of men's hairstyle portraits climbs alongside the marble staircase, doubling as inspiration for clients and a strong branding statement. Paired with the illuminated D&S Salon logo wall, it gives the space a distinct identity that customers instantly recognize.

A Comfortable Waiting Lounge

Long terracotta sofas, round side tables, and a textured area rug create a relaxed waiting lounge that feels more like a lifestyle café than a barbershop queue — the kind of space clients don't mind waiting in.
